Is getting a linux+ comptia certification really worth it? Is a linux certification from a college just as good?

I'm pretty sure that the linux certification from comptia carries way more value than one from your local college. Comptia is a worldwide known name in the tech industry.

Yes, it probably does. But I'm going to try the college route first. I already have a IT degree, I'm just trying to enhance it. I think getting a certification from one of the local colleges will be enough to do that.
