Chinese or Japanese?
Chinese or Japanese?
I'm trying to decide on which language I should learn....chinese or japanese. I would love to learn both one day, but for now I just want to focus on one. Which is the easiest and/or most beneficial to learn for travel and work?
Re: Chinese or Japanese?
As Chinese is my native language, hence I think it's easier to learn. But I have heard from many people, Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn. If you would like to learn both languages eventually, perhaps learning Chinese first would be better for you. As Chinese seems to be used in more countries, and you might be able to communicate while you visit these countries. Moreover, I heard that once you know Chinese, it isn't too difficult for you to learn Japanese, especially those kanji. Good luck to you!
By the way, I'd like to learn Japanese too.
