If you ever find your way in Cebu or any Bisaya-speaking provinces in the Philippines, here are a few expressions that can help you get by:
Generally, the Cebuano language is like Filipino(Tagalog), things are read by syllable.

Good morning = Ma-a-yong bun-tag
" afternoon = Maayong Ud-to
" evening = Maayong Ga-bi-e

How are you? = Ku-mus-ta?

Thank you = Sa-la-mat

You're welcome = Wa-lay Sa-pa-yan

Where = A-sa // When = Ka-nus-a // What = Un-sa // Who = Kin-sa // Why = Nga-nu

Where's the toilet here? = Asa ang CR dinhi?* (Generally, Filipinos call the toilet = CR or Comfort Room; rarely do we use the vernacular (kasilyas).

Where should we meet? = Asa ta pwede magkita?

What time is it? = Unsa oras na?

Hope this helps. Let me know other expressions you want translated and I'll help you out.

Is there a website or book that teaches this? I've been wanting to learn this for years but haven't been able to find a good source. I can only find sites of how to speak Tagalog. If anyone knows of any good references to how to speak Visaya...whether it's websites, books, software, classes etc. please post them. Thanks.

Here are a few good sites that can help you learn the Visayan language. I used these sites to learn how to speak Cebuano/Visaya when I traveled there for a construction project years ago.
