Philippine Street Snacks: Bananaque

Postby Kakashi2020 » Wed Apr 25, 2018 12:17 pm

Bananaque is a popular street food snack in the Philippines, it's made of fried ripe plantain bananas dipped in a sweet sugary syrup and served like barbeque on a stick. Usually a stick of bananaque has 3 whole plantain bananas and costs about $0.30. it's delicious, filling and nutritious.

There are a lot of vendors in wet markets and public outdoor places like near schools and universities that offer this sweet snack.
