Hello guys,

I am thinking of starting a company in Japan. I'm currently living outside japan and own a company in a different country, but need to understand what corporate laws are like in Japan.

I am sorry if I cannot contribute to this topic except that I know there are so many requirements for opening an offshore business in Japan. Their primary concern is the nature of the business and the capitalization. The business cannot directly compete with the local business there.

I have few people from my neighborhood living and working in Japan. However, I have never been to Japan. From my friends in Japan, I hear that it is not very difficult to operate a business in Japan. What kind of business do you have currently and what kind of business do you want to open in Japan?
