Re: Views about traveling
I also enjoy traveling once in a while but not too often because I have problem seating down in a bus, train, or plane for too long. I'm not built like that, if the place is a little bit far, I would easily be discouraged to go on such trip. I prefer traveling to places I wouldn't have to stay on transit for more than 5 hours.

Some reasons to travel include - would be to keep the brain sharp, because when you are introduced to new experiences and new environments, it delays all those degenerative diseases and enhances creativity as well.

Last year my wife and I travelled to Vietnam HCM city and we had a grand time. Vietnam is exquisite to say the least. The foods are delicious, relatively cheap, and the people are warm and hospitable, even if the country is considered as a socialist state. When we travel we learn new things and meet new people. It broadens our perspective in life and it that way enhances our over all well being .
Re: Views about traveling
I believe that everyone has their own perspective view on how life is. So, the more places in life you go...then the more perspective views you have. That is what traveling means to me. I hope to travel to as many different places as I can so I can see the world from different peoples views. I think that if more people did this then the world would be a better place.

I work in the transportation industry so I like to travel. I think that traveling not only allows you to meet new and interesting people, it also helps you to understand others. I've met so many interesting people in my life. I'm thankful for working in the transportation industry.

We are traveling to Macau in November and I am not really that excited whenever I would think that we have to spend 4 to 5 hours from our home to the airport that includes the waiting for the boarding. But for sure I would enjoy the sights in Macau and also the food. That is what excites me.

I wish that more schools would offer traveling opportunities here in the states. I think that traveling at an early age can help shape the minds of a lot of young people for the better. It will help them see the world from all different angles.

I think that alot of this hatred and pregedice in the world would be lessened if more people would get out and travel and meet new people and experience new cultures.

Re: Views about traveling
I think traveling is really therapeutic for the mind - because getting stuck in a rut and being in a funk, can really be a problem in everyday life. It's always good to have a new adventure and see some different scenery as well, and to experience new cultures also, because this can be life changing and humbling as well.

Me and my family tour around the Philippines but we are planning to go outside of the country by next year. Our targeted country is United States because my kids loves to visit the Disney place and we would like to see also the various museum there. The challenge is I need to bring more money for that targeted country in order for us to enjoy the vacation.
It is so nice to travel with the family. Our foreign trips are mostly my wife and I although we brought along 3 kids to Hongkong Disneyland and to Universal Studio in Singapore. The last trip with the kids are in Bangkok. We enjoy traveling but we have to be sure of the budget because it is not good to travel and be left with a debt afterwards.
