Asean countries need no visa for its citizens

I live in a country that is a member of the ASEAN group which is in the Southeast Asia like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and neighboring countries. Whenever I would go to an Asean country I just need my passport and visa is not required. I hope that policy will apply to all countries in Asia because it is not easy to get a visa in Japan and South Korea.
