Kyoto, Japan for a cultural trip

I have been to Kyoto today and I was mesmerized by the place. It is tourist-friendly and you cannot get lost. The sidestreets are replete with eateries. There are temples almost everywhere. Tourists can rent an authentic kimono for a whole day of use. It was one memorable trip because I truly enjoyed the sights and the people as well. The food was also great. The only drawback is the prices that almost anything is expensive.
